Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at Toyota Arena
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, long known as “The Greatest Show on Earth,” brings a modern arena circus production to Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. The supplied event listing is dated August 11, 2024. Check current event information before making plans, as this date has passed.
With roots dating to 1871, Ringling Bros. has spent more than 150 years as one of America's best-known entertainment names. The Ringling Brothers' operation and P.T. Barnum's show joined in 1919. After closing in 2017, the circus returned to touring in 2023 with an animal-free production centered on circus performers and arena spectacle.
The updated show features acrobats, aerialists, contortionists, daredevil motorcycle acts, and international circus artists. Arena staging, aerial rigging, LED lighting, video boards, and theatrical effects support a fast-moving program of multiple acts. The listed production runs approximately two hours, including one intermission, and is designed for audiences of all ages.
The event data provided lists one performance at Toyota Arena. It does not establish earlier Ringling Bros. dates at this venue or additional Ontario-specific history, so no prior appearances are assumed. Families can expect a classic circus atmosphere, with concessions and merchandise noted as part of the fan experience.
Venue and Seating Information
Toyota Arena transforms its floor and overhead space for large-scale productions, making it a natural setting for a circus that uses aerial equipment and multiple performance areas. Arena views can vary by event layout; for this production, the exact seating map and stage configuration should be confirmed with the event listing before selecting seats.
For an aerial-heavy show, seats with a broad view of the arena may help visitors follow activity across the floor and above it. The available information does not include verified fan reviews or section-by-section sightline guidance for this particular event, so specific “best” or “worst” sections cannot be reliably identified.
